Our YTT Mission
Abica & the YST8 Teacher Training team aim to not only help you become a great yoga teacher, but an overall great student of yoga. With a curriculum written by Abica, and all in-person instruction, our goal is to create a safe and healthy environment for you to come learn about the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of yoga.
Learning more about yourself through this ancient practice will allow you to reach your full potential as a teacher AND student. We have no judgment in our space, and we hold strongly to that. Come as you are with an open mind and open heart. And we promise, the yoga will take care of the rest.

A full understanding of yoga history and philosophy and how it can be applied to modern day.
Fun lectures from a certified and working physical therapist covering the understanding of anatomy and physiology as it applies to yoga

Lead Instructor
Abica began her yoga journey in Los Angeles, CA, during college at CalArts. Hook. Line. Sinker. She did her 200 hour teacher training in LA with Ella Cojucaru who has gone on to be a huge inspiration in the yoga world through her outlook and teachings of inversions. Abica began teaching right away all over LA at many different studios and learning from many different and eclectic teachers. She completed an extensive Yin training and Restorative training before she moved to Louisville, KY, to open YOGAST8. Abica lived in Bali for a month, completing her 500 hour teacher training with world-renowned yoga instructors, Deep Kumar, Vijeth Kumar, Anurag Acharya, and Greg Burdulis. Abica has always loved the asana practice of yoga but has truly developed yoga as a lifestyle over the past few years. She is well-rounded, motivated and highly passionate about her teaching. And she can’t wait to share it with you!
